Owner passed away and family has asked that I find this cutie-pie a new, loving home. "Blu" is a blue, male Indian Ringneck. Age is unknown, but best guess is that he's around 5 yrs old from what the family said. He's going through a full moult, so he doesn't look "his best." He wasn't handled as much by his owner as she was ill for a while before she passed away. Blu is shy, but will step up, give you a beak kiss, will sit on your shoulder and then groom your hair. He makes several whistling noises, says "hi" "come 'ere!" and has great potential for increasing his speaking ability. Check out "Marnie, Indian Ringneck" or "Marnie Parrot" videos on you tube. They will amaze you. IRNs are also known for performing tricks. There are several you tube videos about other talented Ringnecks doing tricks. Adoption fee is $ 150 for Blu, only if you have an appropriate cage.
